Ingredients:

  • 6 tablespoons of unsalted butter
  • 6 cups of mini marshmallows
  • 6 cups of Rice Bubbles cereal
  • 57 grams of chocolate chips, melted
  • Cooking Spray
  • Floral wire for basket handle, approx. 90cms

Steps:

  1. In a large saucepan on medium heat, melt the butter.
  2. Add marshmallows and stir until melted.
  3. Add cereal, mixing to combine until cereal is fully coated.
  4. Allow to cool for about 5 minutes or until warm to the touch.
  5. Using a medium sized bowl, spray the inside with cooking spray before adding your cereal mixture.
  6. Press your cereal mixture into the bowl, starting at the bottom and moving up to the sides. You want your cereal mixture to take the shape of the bowl.
  7. Let the mixture set until completely firm–about 24 hours.
  8. Once the mixture is completely firm, use a spatula to carefully loosen the sides away from the bowl.
  9. Using a pastry brush, paint the inside of your bowl with the melted chocolate.
  10. Attach the floral wire for your basket handle and decorate as desired.
  11. Finally, fill your edible basket with Easter goodies that your loved ones are sure to love!
